The hotel is in a great location right across the street from Waverly train station. Which makes it very easy to get to from the airport. The staff went out of their way to ensure I had a pleasant experience. I would highly recommend the Market Street hotel. If I go back to Edinburgh I will definitely stay here.

The pet charge is a bit expensive but they give a proper welcome pack for your doggo so honestly worth it. The room was very clean, quiet as requested and the amenities were great. Ideal for a single trip with your dog like it was for me.
Be careful they tell you after, that you cannot leave your pet alone in the room! More and more properties request this and it’s really not easy when you’re alone and have planned a diner out.

The room was spacious yet cozy, clean, and very well appointed. The bed was so comfortable. The staff were warm, courteous, friendly, and helpful. The restaurant was also excellent.

The room and amenities and view and building and staff were all lovely. Very luxurious feeling hotel. Breakfast was delicious and there were plenty vegetarian options.
The only downside is there's no lift/elevator and 47 plus stairs is a bit much for me but if you have no mobility issues 100 out of 10 would definitely recommend
