the room’s air conditioning monitor seems broken, we can either set it at 19C or 24c but nothing in between. Also, the usb and usb-c port on the right beside table is not installed properly

Clean and fun/quirky room, very close to the RAI and metro. The front desk was hit or miss in regard to politeness, some were very kind and some were clearly unhappy to help. Room service was good but overpriced.

We stayed a week at Hotel JL No 76. Is located on a quiet street and the museum District, and we really enjoyed the location. There are tons of restaurants within a 15 minute walk. The hotel itself is small, and quite quiet. The windows blocked any noise from the school across the street. We stayed in room 306, an executive room. Large enough for myself and my husband and we found there was plenty of storage if you wanted to unpack. Breakfast was fine, we ate at the hotel two mornings. The selection is pretty standard, scrambled and boiled eggs, bacon, sausage, granola, cereals, juices, croissants, and pastries, and assorted coffees. I ordered a pancake both mornings and they were definitely more like crêpes than they are the Dutch pancakes. Housekeeping was great, they kept the room spotless. Keep in mind that there is no conditioner in the bathroom, you do have to ask for it at the front desk. The tub is rather high, so be careful getting in and out of it as it does take a little bit of effort. The staff experience was a little mixed, the gentleman who checked us in, was very professional, and on top of things, and then there was one evening, where there was a guy working the late shift and he was smoking outside more than he was at the desk. The hotel did surprise us with a bottle of still water on night and then a small bottle of red wine on night 6. We would definitely come back, based on its excellent location and quietness of the area.

Great little hotel on one of the canals. Super easy to get to with the tram and rideshare. Bright, clean, great staff. Tons of things to do if you get to the corner and go left, towards downtown, or if you turn right towards the Rijks museum. Food, art, shops, art, bikes, art, coffee, art, music, art… and more art. The staff is super friendly, knowledgeable, and ready to help. Great drinks at the bar, and fries! Breakfast was great as well, has all the requirements and a few very local flavors.

Hoofddorp train station is a few minutes walk away which is very handy for travel into Amsterdam. It's a long walk into Hoofddorp itself, which has plenty of nice shops and places to eat. The only little thing is no smart TV in the room which I thought was a little odd, and if like us you're not out too late, and don't drink you won't have much to watch!
