Surat Thani Province Beach Vacations

One of the interconnecting rooms got water seeped through the floor during the thunderstorms. The staff was really helpful when we told them and they came mutiple times to put towels around.

The location is great to walk to massage places, restaurants and right on the beach. The pool area/beachfront was nice and seemed to have enough chairs for all. The staff are excellent! Very accommodating and friendly! The bed was comfortable, but linens and towels are worn. Outside the bathroom (which is only screens and wood slats) the staff congregate and talk at all hours of the night. Maybe it’s the next door resort? They are very close with only a wall separating. There are many floodlights along the path outside the door to the room and they shine right into the room. Someone kept turning it to shine into the window and we’d turn it back down to the ground so we could sleep and along would come someone else to turn it back to shine into the window. Very annoying! They need lower wattage or different angles for them. The breakfast was a good- eggs, meats, salad, Thai dishes, yogurt and breads. We liked the location a lot and rented scooters to visit farther away places.

Crossing the road to the beach was really easy as the two helpers are always there to stop the traffic. Kids club turned out to be amazing with well trained staff that had many ideas and projects on hand. We ended up using the games room on the daily basis for pool and air hockey. We also liked the location as it was super easy to get around and having two 7/11 right there proved really handy.

Absolutely wonderful hotel, the staff go above and beyond, just loved everything from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. If I can think of just one improvement, it would be to have a bar open after dinner in the evening as after dinner everyone seems to just disappear either out to Fisherman’s village or to bed, so would be nice to have a bar just to sit and enjoy a cocktail
