Awful, rundown and shabby. Only redemption, the sfaff, despite the choas they tried. Martha was a real star, and deserves a better job

Beautiful clean room , for an old building the creaky , slopping floors were as expected. Very well stocked breakfast but I wasn’t sure where we were supposed to eat it so we went back to our room so perhaps trays should be provided? My only problem was the wedding / house side , I think it confusing. Even though the staff were very friendly, I felt in the way the next day after check out as the bridal party were setting up for their wedding. Perhaps an area could be set up for non wedding guests? Or are guests expected to leave straight after check out( I was waiting for my lift) I would definitely check if there was a wedding on if I booked again. I don’t think the mix of wedding / normal stays mix.

Unfortunately our room (in the old part of the hotel complex) didn’t have hot water, the Aircon didn’t work, the breakfast buffet was, for many components, cold. We were the first at breakfast, so maybe the hot plates hadn’t heated up the food yet. The staff when we arrived, and for dinner, were very helpful, less so in the morning. I have stayed at the same hotel previously, it is doubtful we’ll stay there again.
