Un peu à l’écart des activités, mais les navettes offertes et la facilité d’avoir un taxi facilitent la découverte de Vientiane. Premier déjeuner a été décevant, mais la deuxième matinée, il a dépassé nos attentes. La note 4 refléte le manque de constance. L’équipe du buffet a été très sympathique!

This most recent stay was for three nights, and once again, the experience was exceptional. I could easily make a lengthy list of reasons why Rosewood continues to stand out, but for me, it always comes back to two things: the architectural richness of the property, and above all, the extraordinary hospitality of the people who bring it to life. The Rosewood team has a rare ability to make you feel not simply accommodated, but genuinely cared for. Every detail feels intentional, every interaction thoughtful, and every moment quietly refined. There is a sense that the entire team is there with one purpose — to enrich your visit in a way that feels effortless, gracious, and deeply personal. The property itself offers everything a traveler could hope for when seeking serenity in the heart of nature. Surrounded by a canopy of lush trees, natural gardens, and the peaceful sound of a tranquil stream running through the property, Rosewood creates a sanctuary that feels both elegant and restorative. I am already excited to return again next year. Due to visiting during the low season, I was upgraded to a suite at no extra charge— which was very spacious and had a wonderful view overlooking the courtyard. The manager Tri, was incredibly gracious and professional, he took me on a guided 5K run on my first morning there and also gave me a list of local activities. He checked in regularly via text regarding the stay and accommodations and was quick to respond. I highly recommend staying here!

Lovely place to stay, right in the middle of town but on the road next to the river so it wasn't busy, but everything is in walking distance, great location. The staff were very helpful, kind and welcoming. The rooms are spacious and have large comfortable beds for a great nights sleep. The breakfast menu is small but has good variety and everything is made fresh, very tasty. Highly recommend for your visit to Luang Prabang.
