Happy hour at 5 pm was good, staff helpful and bed was very comfortable. Personally, didn’t like there was no area in the dresser to put clothes. We enjoyed time on the Rooftop terrace at night and the city is very quiet with lots of good Asian and Italian food nearby. There’s a creepy man on the video in the elevators that I didn’t care for, too. Bathroom was ok but only had a standup shower that didn’t have a full glass enclosure so it felt odd and overall the aesthetic was overly modern and felt masculine. They have free self parking a half block away but you can pull up to the front to off-load luggage. Go to the Eureka Tower and hop on and off public transit for free in the downtown area. No myti card is needed since you can tap your digital wallet if you leave downtown - it authorizes your card so you are charged only once per day and was only $6 for full day. Would I stay again? Probably not because of the aesthetics. However, if a single male, there on business or a romantic weekend, it would be fine. Not ideal for families as there was nothing oriented toward children or teens.

This isn’t the property’s fault at all but the bins and skips were emptied on the street outside from 4:30am on Friday morning for over 90 minutes so that was the end of sleep for the night. The flat I had was nice. Not modern but that’s part of the charm. Lovely high ceilings. Great location for my morning Yarra River run.

My first room smelt of mold, had a broken bed and hair all over. The second ‘upgraded’ room had insects. No housekeeping provided they only (as per staff) replace towels and waste bins they DO NOT clean. No laundry facilities, no breakfast, no toothbrush, no slippers, air filters had a 3 inch layer of filth, run down amenities, unhelpful and non responsive staff, elevator that is on its last legs and an outdoor area filled with homeless drug addicts… oh also there was construction outside. Perhaps worst of all in order to get a late check out they require customers to leave a false 5 star review on google maps. A deceitful practice oftentimes employed in south east asia, not western countries. The cost was quite high too.
