Very clean , staff is excellent Restaurant food and service could be better

Overall, it was really clean and very central to Auckland, and I had only a few very specific nitpicks. Grand Millennium is a bit old-fashioned for my taste. They are renovating floor by floor and had not gotten to the 11th yet, so all the trim and decor was pretty dated. Staff were friendly and helpful, although the concierge mostly just used google maps to recommend places upon request, which I could do myself. I wish that the junior suite had a desk or even an outlet anywhere near the table; I had to do work in the lobby.

When we booked the hotel we made sure there was 2 Queen beds and a sofa bed as there was 3 people staying. The first night after check in and getting back to the hotel we realised the sofa did not fold out into a bed. We alerted the 24/7 check in desk and they were quick to resolve the issue in the middle of the night. Overall it’s a nice hotel, it’s quiet, not too far of a walk from the sky tower and other attractions. The hotel had its own private car park, gym, smoke room and restaurant. Everything was clean and tidy. For a budget friendly stay I recommend Auckland City Hotel

Everything is great at this hotel.

Check in and check out staff great, we checked out at 4.30am and he was really pleasant at that hour and helpful. The hotel is situated right where we meeded easy access to everything and the room was really good
