Cute, funky decor. The rooms came with a fan, but it was kind of hot and stuffy. Good showers and adequate breakfast. Kind of an odd combination of a hotel combined with an American/Mexican restaurant. Location was good. Nothing fancy though. Did appreciate the in-room refrigerator.

This hotel was as advertised. You may find the Hotel California theme a bit tacky but don’t be surprised if- the room is very comfortable. Everything looked to be new. The only disappointment was the breakfast option - there really was not much to choose from on the buffet. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

This place is as central in Zurich as it gets. You do not need a car to discover the city - you step out of Hotel California and your are in the middle of downtown Zurich. Clean, perfect location - highly recommended!

Awesome location within walking distance of all the sites. When you leave out the front of the hotel you are right by the Limmat river and also a few minutes walk to the Grossmunster cathedral. A restaurant is on the 1st floor and the lobby and rooms start on the 2nd floor. You can either take the stairs up or there is an elevator at the back of the restaurant. Also highly recommend taking the train from the main Zurich train station to Uetilberg. There are amazing views of the Alps here and it’s only about a 20 minute train ride away. Trains leave every 20 minutes.
