"The property seemed to be in the middle of construction/remodel. The apartment itself was spacious but was unfinished. "Almost perfect - 1) the location was great (I could stroll into old town if I wanted, supermarkets around the hotel were easily accessible, my room had fantastic views), a well-maintained basement parking is a god-sent in winter, the hotel has a good restaurant if you felt lazy heading out for meals. Just 2 things to improve on - 1) Upon check-in, when I paid for parking and tourist tax, the sum didn’t add up. But the difference was minimal (about SGD5) and I was tired, after a long day so didn’t bothered to follow-up. It would be good to provide the breakdown or receipt; 2) Toilet doors need better insulation, it gets loud for the person in the room (trying to sleep) when someone is showering."
