We were pleased with the property size (including garden size) and location in a peaceful village. "This is bizarre… The apartments are for .old people’! It’s an old folks home…!! It’s a home for the aged…!!! It’s a retirement home!!!! Even more bizarre…The name of the building on the booking site has nothing to do with the name of the building in Orleans… Please see photo I was looking for quite a while for the building… before I notice the number… and enquired within… The accommodation was fine… but … this is bizarre The area is starting to be a bit run down… … and was a bit worried...

"Beautiful area and a cute little property with a very friendly welcome. Plenty space to park and a wee garden to sit in of an evening. Upstairs bedroom is interesting to get into and not for the older generation but full of character and great value for what we needed."

"On a scale of 1-10, La Pavie gets a 12. The house and grounds were fabulous and in a great location. We used it as base to visit a lot (a whole lot) of Chateaux. Our host was wonderful. She was quick to respond and to help when we needed it. She made our visit pleasant and most memorable. La Pavie is definitely the place to stay when in the Loire!"

"Beautiful accommodation in a lovely setting. Great facilities (tennis, pool, sauna, jacuzzi), outdoor dining, barbecue, next to a river, lovely owners, close to a town that has good food outlets. Very peaceful, plenty of wildlife (deer, foxes, cormorants, kestrels). Very relaxing! Hostess very helpful in every way! Thanks for a very nice stay! "

"Beautiful villa Kitchen was amazing but would have benefited from some essential utensils such as scissors, whisk, garlic press, steak knives. The on site lady was extremely helpful and kind. Nothing was too much trouble. We had to ask for a few things but she sorted straight away. A leaf blower would have been a good idea as the patios were very untidy with leaves and debris. "
