Garden Cabin Excellent

Great place to stay, just under 2 miles from York centre perfect to tire our dog out. Absolutely spotless cabin at end of the very long garden, able to come and go as you please. Would definitely stay again if travelling back to York.

We went to York as family with our Labrador. We loved every bit of our stay here. The house is quiet as it is located behind the hosts house and well away from the road. It is safe with gated entrance. It is spacious with a lovely open plan living space and two spacious bedrooms. It was clean and well kept. It had all the amenities in the kitchen for a comfortable stay. Our dog loved it as well. The host has a dog so at times a bit restrictive for our puppy but he enjoyed the stay. Dogs have a lot of outdoor space to explore.

Very good

Superb location. Very quiet and easily commutable to the centre of York. The bedding is confortable. Generous bathroom with all you need provided. Safe parking in the owner's drive. The only negative is in the kitchen. The microwave is on its last leg and therefore does not work very well. It requires a lot of pressing and turning of the controls (and patience) to make it work. One of the stove tops does not work. Hoopefully the older one does work.

The chalet is in a secluded spot at the bottom of a well maintained garden and is spacious and well equipped. Our dog was very happy with lots of good walks to hand. Also to hand (4 minutes walk) is Acomb as the local centre with a good range of shops, cafes and bars, plus a medium sized Morrisons supermarket. Regular buses from here to York, although we found it easiest to drive to the outskirts of the city and walk in the last half mile.

Lovely property at the end of the garden. Good off road party and you can leave the car and go into York on the many bus routes not far from the property. Very quiet location. Lovely owner of the property and very chatty and welcoming. We would definitely stay again

Beautiful and clean property. Very comfortable beds, fully furnished with all necessities. Nice and quiet area, located at the back of private property. Only for some reason check in information was not reveived although it was said it will be emailed to me on the morning of the day of check in. Nothing on the app or email, I even checked spam folder. But luckily property hsd Ring dorbell and all the information was given to me. Just was worried before ariving, if I will be able to get in and stuff. Other that, perfect stay 😊
