"There was a damp smell in the room that was covered up by some kind of fragrance that was not pleasant. The towels felt like sandpaper on my skin. We only slept there for one night, as we were visiting friends in town, but I would not stay there for more than one night. I would not recommend this, unless you are restricted to staying in the area."

"Took a solo trip to Wisconsin and had a great time. Room was way bigger than I thought it would be and the staff gave great suggestions for dinner. Everything was clean and the breakfast was top notch!!"
Peace & Simplicity in a Little Red Cabin on the Farm
10/10 Excellent
"I was looking for a quiet, relaxing weekend away from the city and happened upon The Little Red Cabin. Just 2 hours outside of Milwaukee, it was the perfect little retreat on a beautiful hobby farm. The space was perfect for me and my dog, and had all the necessary amenities. As a solo traveler, I felt safe and comfortable. The property is lovely and you can stroll through the little orchard and watch their highland cows and chickens graze. This is an operational farm, so you’ll hear folks at work. The cabin has its own space on the land, so I was able to happily read with a bonfire outside without being bothered by the nearby noise, but if you’re looking for something totally quiet, you may want to look for something more remote. Again, as a woman traveling alone, I appreciated that the hosts were around. They were even kind enough to coax the cows to the fence with some treats when they saw me watching. I loved my stay and definitely hope to come back for a future stay."
Nature Lover's Paradise In The Driftless Area Of Southern Wisconsin, USA.
10/10 Excellent
"This is a beautiful property. The setting is so gorgeous in the hills. You immediately relaxed. Great kitchen facilities to have meals there. Very clean. Comfortable beds. The mowed walking path around the property was a bonus. The bird feeder was a delight to watch in the mornings as we enjoyed our own breakfast. Our host was very good with communication and personable to greet us but not intrusive. Very special place."
"We stayed in a main floor regular 2 queen beds room. The room was spacious and clean. The furniture was a little outdated. It would be nice if the TV could hang on the wall to allow for more dresser top space. It would be wonderful to add a rack to one part of a wall with clothes hangers, and a hook to the back of the bathroom door. The staff were nice! The pool, hot tub, and back outdoor seating area was peaceful. Parking is conveniently close to the building."
