"I stayed at this hotel many times over the course of a month while working in the area, and it quickly became a comfortable “home away from home”. Each visit was consistently positive and stress-free. The hotel itself is clean, comfortable, and well maintained. My room was always tidy on arrival, with everything I needed for a straightforward stay. After long working days, it was a calm and reliable place to return to. The food was also very good—consistently tasty and well prepared. I can’t comment on breakfast as I never had it, so I can’t fairly review that part. What really stood out, though, was the staff. Every interaction over the month was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely relaxed. They always made time to help and made the experience feel personal rather than routine. One moment that stuck with me was when I reported a faulty hair dryer. Instead of simply replacing it, the staff member joked and asked if I actually needed one, given that I’ve got very little hair. It was light-hearted and good-natured, and it really reflected the team’s easy-going personality. Overall, the consistency of service made a big difference during a busy work period. I always felt looked after without being over-fussed, and that balance was perfect for me. I’d happily stay here again when working in the area. A comfortable, reliable hotel with genuinely friendly staff who make the stay memorable."

"This place needs a deep clean. As soon as we opened the door we knew is wasn't clean due to the smell. Never had this problem at other rentals.The bathrooms had scum on sinks and unclean toilets. The carpets hadn't been vacuum and the tiled floors were sticky. The leather settee and chairs were cracked and grimy. The bed linen was clean but old and faded. Uncomfortable old matressess. Kitchen equipment like saucepans and baking trays needed replacing. Even found dirty cups in the cupboards. Very disappointed as in a convenient place for beach and amenities. Informed manager but no response. "

"Absolutely perfect stay. Greeted with warmth and kindness from the owners and also departed with the same warmth and kindness. During my stay nothing was too much trouble if I needed it. Idyllic location near to Worthing centre and also Cissbury Ring landmark. Great transport links. I was greeted with homemade lemon shortbread with all the listed ingredients which was a lovely touch and absolutely delicious. Karibu is immaculately cleaned. Extremely comfortable. I enjoyed using the large smart tv. The powerful shower and instant heating. It’s based on a peaceful cul de sac, so there’s a chance for calm and quiet. The bed was fantastic and I slept well which added to the enjoyment of my trip. I would love to come back again in the future."
