「A very special place to stay as this was the family home of Florence Nightingale. We stayed in two bedrooms which were the rooms that she grew up in before she went to Crimea. This is not a hotel. It’s more of a guest house with a few of the rooms rented out on a nightly basis. The property is accessed through several gates so it’s on very private land. The views are amazing of the local countryside and there’s a very beautiful garden around the house and sheep in the fields a little further...

「AVOID AT ALL COSTS.This is the first negative review I have ever left for anything in my life. Host is completely non responsive when you have any issues, I reached out initially as we had no WIFI, the host didnt resolve it.Coffee table had a leg missing. Dining breakfast bar was falling off the wall. 「We paid a premium price for a very standard room. Double bed with hard pillows. Very dated in the decor and furnishings. I was disappointed with the whole experience. Set menu for the evening was very pricy and was underwhelming. Breakfast was what saved the day, nice ingredients, great selection. Staff were friendly.」
