「We arrived to a lovely friendly greeting from Suruchi, we were given a walk around of the property, offered information on things to do and places to go. We chose this as a central location that was dog friendly for the three of us to stay. Nice location, nice property and the room was clean and tidy. Would definitely use this property again on another stay in the lakes. Thank you for making our 4 night stay so memorable.」

「Excellent room; responsive staff is committed to service. Use driveway to the LEFT (downhill) of the house. Parking can be tricky in small lot, but help is available. Phone is needed for initial entry if staff is off-site (room key is in lock box and a phone call provides the code). I had a very happy and comfortable stay.」

「Moss Grove is a fantastic B&B in the heart of Grasmere. The staff were wonderful—their “we’ll do everything we can for our guests” attitude really made our stay. The hot tub photos seen during booking however, gave us the wrong impression. It’s exclusively for the suite, with no access for other guests. We brought our bathing suits, only for them to spend the entire stay in our suitcase. A massive disappointment. What did I like…the staff!!! Breakfast and location. What didn’t I like? The...

「What a beautiful property finished to a very high standard of decor. Property was spotless, food was excellent and the owner's such lovely friendly people. Secure car parking for the time spent there. Would definitely recommend the Melrose guest house.」

「The fell rooms was an absolutely stunning place to stay in Ambleside. The rooms were incredible, so clean and well thought out. The little extras such as biscuits, a fan in the room and heated towel rails made such a positive difference in our experience. Breakfast was absolutely delicious, and we really enjoyed our stay here.」
