Great spot in Winterset

We had an absolutely wonderful time staying at this property in Winterset, Iowa! The house was not only clean and comfortable but also full of charm and character that made us feel right at home. The location is perfect, close enough to explore the town’s historic landmarks, including the covered bridges and the John Wayne Birthplace Museum. We had a family get together at the bungalow and it was wonderful. Such a beautiful house with plenty of room for anyone. Location was perfect close to town square. I think everyones favorite thing was the front porch. Spent hours out on the front porch. The game room in the basement was a hit, and the great beds were comfortable and quiet. The Bungalow was great!! Had everything we needed and felt homey and welcoming! The weather was not great, but it didn’t keep us from taking in the historic downtown area that was filled with great little shops and restaurants! It was our favorite girls trip despite the unusual cold, wet weather!

This charming bungalow has become a special tradition for our family. We’ve stayed here three years in a row, and it truly feels like a home away from home. The house is beautifully decorated for Christmas, filled with lovely antiques, and has such a cozy, welcoming feel. This was a great house for 4 of us. We've stayed in many VRBO's, and this was one of the best. It was clean and well equipped. It had a wonderful coffee bar set up and ready to go. We sat out on the porch and watched it rain.

This was our fourth stay at the Bungalow and we really enjoyed it. It was a great place for our group to eat together after a day of working on quilts and other creative endeavors. It was very clean and had most everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and the location was quiet. Our hosts are always responsive to our suggestions and questions.
