「A few of my nursing school friends and I got together for an anniversary weekend. We did not spend a ton of time at the house, and we only stayed for one night, but it was very comfortable and easy to find. We used the hot tub, which was very relaxing, and we all slept great. Any communication we had with the property owner was replied to quickly, and he made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.」

The owners have done such a great job with keeping some of the original defining and characteristic architecture of the era of the house (windows, fireplace, built-in shelves, front door, built-in telephone cubby, wood floors, for example), while modernizing the bathroom and kitchen. 「This was our second stay at this VRBO. We like the location- very quiet neighborhood and easy to get to. The house was clean. After 30 seconds in the downstairs shower, one family member noticed it was not draining properly. We let them know about the shower, and that we would use the upstairs shower for the remainder of our stay. The host was quick to respond to communication and said their maintenance person had been notified.」
