「My favorite place to stay when in Winston-Salem! Great location, beautiful, clean and well equipped 2 bedroom 2 bath apartment on the edge of Old Salem. Second bathroom is just outside the 2nd bedroom. Walking distance to 4th Street/downtown and Old Salem area. The only minor downside is the entrance to another property adjoin the main bedroom and it can occasionally sound like they are in the bedroom with you when on the stairs. 」

「Check-in was quite blotchy and late due to the host being on a cruise and not being able to get messages to me easily. But finding out that the front door had been left unlocked for me 'as to be convenient' was extremely unsafe and unnerving to enter at that point. It was a nice location, nice neighbors, but excessively compacted yet quite. The rental was very clean. The mattresses/beds were both terribly uncomfortible and "springy" maybe worn out or just not made well. The bench in the bedroom...

「Centrally located property, within walking distance of movies, art galleries, and plenty of good eats. However, the place needs a little TLC. The floor was peeling and uneven. The bathroom seat was sliding off. Worse, the barnhouse doors trapped several members of our parties in the bathroom. Curtains in one of the bedrooms did not close, letting in light and sounds from the passing trains.」
