"It's a neat historic hotel located on the town square which is a great location in the middle of all the shops and restaurants. They had a great farmers market on the Square on Saturday. Very cool. The hotel is old but classic. The room was large and the bed comfortable. It's dated but clean. They could probably do away with the dated wall paper and it keep it's charm. Staff very friendly. We had a nice time. For us much classier than a corporate run of the mill hotel "

"I really liked your place, very clean and nicely decorated. The bed matress was really nice,- I often come to a sagging matress.. but here i could stay in bed all day, it was quiet,- and very clean…Definitely not a place for kids under 6-8 yo.We were here to visit w family and it worked out great. The owner and assistant were very helpful. Thank you!"

"Its a nice motel, quiet, clean, pet friendly of course. I used to live over in this area in some apartments behind the small shopping center next to it and I feel its pretty safe. They have cameras installed around the motel though for guests peace of mind. Its got restaurants And Jitter Bean right across the street super convenient.. warm place to stay for a night or 2. Alao the shower handle fell off while turning it one and they were very nice about it and offered a change of room immediately and offered it in the room right next door. Its a welcoming place."

"Such a cool space! Set right in the heart of Humboldt's famous redwoods, but only a quick drive to town (Fieldbrook, Blue Lake especially) and SUPER peaceful. We had plenty of floor space for my bestie to set up an air mattress as well. Hosts were super friendly and accommodating - would love to come back again sometime soon!"
