For the record, I’ve NEVER left a negative review for any place I’ve ever stayed, EVER!
It's a beautiful facility but the staff is seriously lacking. Immediately after check-in and unpacking we went to the poolside bar. There were 5 people behind the bar, 3 on their phones, two talking to each other. We were the ONLY ones there looking for a drink. We waited 5 full minutes and finally just walked away. For dinner that night we went to the Harbour restaurant. We waited a full ten minutes (there were only about 4 other tables occupied) and finally had to get up and ask a server for menus. She dropped them on our table and kept walking. After waiting another fifteen minutes I had to get up again and ask her if we could place an order. The order finally came and was completely wrong (not even close), we just left. The same restaurant, a few days later, took our food orders and just never came back to our table at all.
Back in the room, I left a note and a ten-dollar bill, asking the cleaning staff for 2 extra pillows. They took the money and wrote, "I'll ask"... we never got extra pillows.
There are NO blenders behind any of the bars. If you want a frozen drink, bring your own.
There’s a little tiki hut called “Coffee and Smoothie Bar”. My wife went there and asked for a coffee. The person said, “We don’t have coffee today, only pina coladas”…. NOT frozen.
One afternoon, at lunch time, there was a sewage truck emptying the cesspool right next to all of the open-air restaurants.
