"Our stay at the Kimpton De Witt in Amsterdam was absolutely perfect. The location is excellent—close to everything yet still calm and comfortable—but what truly made this hotel stand out was the service. The front desk staff, especially the lady who helped us, was outstanding. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely cared about making our stay special. Every interaction felt warm and personal, which is rare and so appreciated. If you’re deciding where to stay in Amsterdam, don’t hesitate—this hotel is worth it. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city."

"The hotel location was fantastic. Maybe a 15 minute walk at a relaxed pace. The room condition was excellent. Clean, organised. After a lovely shower, it aided in how fresh we felt. We didn't use the room service, but the menu had a good selection. The staff were absolutely amazing. From assisting us with check in, to getting us medical assistance. My fiance (luckily) didn't need an ambulance, or hospital, but did require to speak to a doctor. I phoned reception and - I think her name was - Georgia, took our details and got in touch with health care professionals and then organised a taxi to get us to their practice. She went above and beyond. It was very much appreciated. The hotel location is also 5 minutes from the city centre and all the attractions that area is associated with. There's an Amsterdam Coffeeshop right across the road, and beside that there is a small shop that sells bottled water, snacks, etc. If I return to Amsterdam, this is the hotel I'm going to stay in. "

"The hotel is beautiful and in a perfect central location. The restaurants were great and the service gracious. The room was comfortable. What made it spectacular was that I fell and injured myself on the ice (record cold during my stay), a member of the bell staff found out, and the night manager called me, and everyone on the staff was very helpful. They even sent a messenger out to purchase Ibuprofen for me, and delivered ice packs to my room. Thy made the stay very personal. It was not my best trip to Amsterdam, but one of the most caring hotel experiences I've ever had. "

"If you are traveling alone it's 5 stars. If you are sharing the room with another person, you are in for interesting times as the bedroom and bathroom are single space. You gonna get to know your partner in a completely new way, if you know what i mean. Breakfast was great. Overall nice place, expect for the no privacy bathroom thing. "
