「The house was lovely, modern, clean. My second trip to the cabins. I love it here, so brought my family this time. We loved the common outdoor area by the river and spent many happy hours there together. The Forest Service accross the highway was so helpful and the nearby trails were beautiful.Our last night at the Obsidian Grill and General Store was fantastic with live music, great food and such a perfect mix of locals, fellow travelers and super cute canines. 「In a small cluster of homes. Neighbors are quiet. Woods setting is lovely and a very short drive to Salmon River trailhead. Beds need upgrading but otherwise very unpretentious and cozy.」

「We absolutely loved our stay here. We were driving from Seattle down to southern Oregon. Instead of staying at some roadside motel, we wanted to have a unique experience that would enhance our trip. This was definitely the place for that. I have a feeling that it will be the thing my children remember the most about this year’s summer vacation. The place was exactly as described, and had everything we needed. If you’re looking for a place to stay in the area, I highly recommend it. 」

「Original Password for Wifi was incorrect and with 3 remotes for TV , we couldn't find the instructions. While staying connected was a low priority with the beauty of the area and cabin it could have been clearer so we could just enjoy the area a little longer but we will be back !!」

「The cabin was clean and well-organized. I would recommend this location to anyone looking for a place to stay in the area. It doesn't impact me, but the walk from the parking area might be difficult for older or less mobile people. Also, the exterior of the property is very dark, so arrivals after sunset would be a challenge. 」

「 Great cottage, beautiful river, loved sitting on the deck above the river. Very comfortable and in a good location. My only small complaint is that I thought I could access the river and fish from the banks of the McKenzie at the cottage, but the steep 20-foot bluff makes that impossible. So don't plan on fishing there. 」
