"This place was a gem! We loved our stay here for the night, too bad we didn't stay longer. The staff were super friendly, and the charm of this place was over the top. We stayed in one of the chalet's, a one bedroom unit and it was so cozy and inviting. The restaurant food and staff were excellent, and the live traditional music was so fun to listen to. They even provided a service to pick us up from the chalet and take us back when we wanted to go back to our room. We highly recommend this as a stopover if you are up in Cape Breton!"

"Remember this is a motel, not a 4/5 star hotel but having said that, it was very clean, tidy, well maintained, with great helpful staff, in a fantastic location and with a superb restaurant serving both breakfast and evening meals, all at great prices, with quality food/service and plentiful. "I loved the place. It was very nice and cozy. Would have been nice if we could have used the wood stove. The weather was cold and the place didn't heat up as good as I would have liked. It was very clean and we had everything we needed. It would be nice if there was a hot tub on the deck... just an idea. Host was good though and accommodated all our needs. Thought che k in and check out times good be adjusted and he was very accommodating letting us come a little earlier and leave a bit later. I found the time was a bit late for check in so we arrive an hour early and left an hour or so late. Host was very agreeable. Comfortable beds! Would enjoy the area better if the weather had been warmer."

"Very clean, had everything one would need. I'm more of a minimalist but that's an individuals taste. It was quiet which I was looking for. Wifi/phone is spotty, had to go outside to get a signal..not a big deal. love the walk to the water, the beach was lovely. Overall, I would definitely rent there again."
