「ダートムーア国立公園の中心部にあるホテル。 古い建物を使っているが綺麗に保たれており、快適に過ごすことが出来た。 レストランでは近くにある蒸留所の地ビールも頂く事が出来、ディナーの際にはピアノの生演奏を聴きながら優雅に食事を楽しめた。 止まった部屋が2階だったからか、シャワーの出は少し弱め。 ただ、それ以外は完璧なホテルだった。ダートムーアに行った時にはまた泊まりたいと思う。」

「地図で見ると周りに何も目的になるものがなかったので心配したが、実際行ってみるととてもわかりやすく、しかも英国のカントリーサイドにふさわしい、すばらしい環境の所に建っていた。朝食をとった部屋の雰囲気も抜群で、日本では味わえない優雅な気持ちにさせられた。夕食はいつもバーで軽く飲み、スターターなどで十分で、この日もホテルの雰囲気のいいバーでのひとときを満喫できた。余り日本人は来ないそうだが、susiやtempuraのメニューがあった。シェフが日本で修業したことがあるので取り入れているとのことだった。」

"清潔さと駅からの近さでこのホテルを選びました。期待通りでしたので非常に満足しています。フロントも24時間対応で、対応も暖かく親切でした。廊下や上の階の歩く音がやや響くので、神経質な方は気になるかもしれませんが、騒がしいといった事は特にありませんでした。アメニティーや最新の設備という意味では充分とは言えませんが、ロンドンは宿泊量が高いのでその点に照らせば値段相応だと思います。全体として大変満足しています。"
