「Took 15 min to check in. Desk clerk could barely speak english. No lights worked in the room. It smelled terrible and moldy. No shower curtain and pipes sticking out. Left immediately. Still waiting for refund. 」

「The staff was so thoughtful and kind. I had called earlier because I knew we were going to be a late check in because of the concert we were attending. Traffic after the concert was so bad we were stuck in a parking lot for hours. It called again and the counter person on duty said our key was ready and waiting and not to stress. When we got there we walked right in. They gave us a key and asked if we needed any water or anything else after our stressful traffic experience. The room was...

「This was my first stay at Tru but won't be my last. It is convenient (close to the airport) and clean. It's definitely a "millennial hotel" (bright colors, lots of open workspace and pool table in the lobby), but as a "Boomer" I appreciated the energy (affirmations on the front door, young staff). It's fairly new, and smelled fresh. The bathroom hand soap is everything!」
