「Great friendly staff and great amenities like s’mires by the lake, canoes, champagne with huckleberry syrup, & free shuttle. The room itself had worn carpet and chair and needed new lightbulbs. It was dark. The tiki bar was fun and food good. The Canoe House food was sub-par given its high prices. My broccoli tasted like wood smoke and the fish was dry. I would expect more fr $50-$60 dollar entrees.」

「The staff at Grouse Mountain was extremely helpful during our stay. We arrived believing we had all the items we needed for our dogs. But we forgot food bowls. We forgot water bowls. We forgot scissors to open the food for the dogs. Not only is there no additional charge for pets, but the front desk staff obtained take-away containers to use for food dishes, a glass bowl to use for water, and scissors to open the food containers. 「Room was doable for what we needed, stayed in an upstairs room, no elevator, which I didn’t realize, had to carry up heavy suitcases and gear. The bed mattress needs replacing- it was very hard, and uncomfortable. The CO2 sensor had a flashing strobe light that went off all night long and reflected on the ceiling near the bed. 「Property was beautiful and in a lovely location. Everyone working there was friendly and helpful. Nice bonus to have breakfast available each morning as a lot of the hotels in the area don’t offer it. The lounge/den area was comfortable and welcoming. Would highly recommend and would not hesitate to return!」
