"Hotel Indigo has extremely friendly staff (professional and welcoming).
Central location, very close to Bourke street. Silent, no street noise at all or even sounds from other guests. Also, impressively thick curtains. After a late arrival, I slept well after sunrise! Comfy bed.
The reception is surprisingly on the second floor. Multiple speedy elevators made access very easy. Easy taxi drop off in Little Collins Street (opposite the Patagonia shop)

Front desk very attentative.
If you have allergies, turn air con off in your room, and open the balcony door. Which I did for 7 of the 9 days I stayed."
