We loved staying here - it had everything we needed and was warm, inviting and obviously presented with care. Enjoyed that we could walk to the farmers market, town, galleries and around the bridges.

We had a great time in Whanganui, although we were working . Was made a whole lot easier by coming back to a place that felt like home, thanks for having us and we would definitely stay again

perfect for a family gathering

very comfortable and well-equipped house. Safe for children with good fencing and gates and plenty of space for them to play. They enjoyed the toy box (wanted to watch DVDs but machine didn't seem to work). Kitchen is well-equipped and spacious and washing machine was a boon. Close to river and a nice walk along it to town. Good communication with Allan.

A Very Comfortable Home

Such a spacious and well equipped accommodation in a lovely historic town. We would recommend it to anyone looking for a place in the area. We were only two people but it would certainly be comfortable for a family or a group of adults. It has everything one could hope to find for a comfortable stay.

golf trip

We had a group of 4 players attending a golf tournament in Wanganui and stayed 4 nights. It was clean,tidy and well presented with far more available beds for larger groups. Great friendly hosts to deal with and very efficient.They had left cereals,condiments etc available for our use whilst we didn't use them I am sure many would find this useful. Highly recommend this place and couldn't fault anything at all. Thanks for sharing your lovely house with us.

Girls yearly get away.

Very well equiped in all manner of things,very clean and comfortable,we were 6 women in our mid seventies to late eighties,and go away same time every year,to all sorts of places and have done fot 17years,and would recomend this accomodation to anyone.

Perfect Family Accommodation

A great stay was booked for a 3 day stay for some family from auckland. Host are lovely as they live behind the house but that was ok as its still very private. House had everything its warm cosy and very homely but would suggest a dryer as there were not enough towels for a family of 7 for those 3 days. And emptying the rubbish bin an recycling bin before new guest arrive as they were full the day of check in. Overall i 100% recommend.

Fantastic stay

Lovely roomy house with a warm welcoming feel. Comfy beds and a great shower. Fantastic hosts .... friendly and helpful, and the info they provided in the house gave us excellent ideas on what to do and see. Really enjoyed our stay here, highly recommended.
