Take a trip to Portland, with its traditional lighthouse and stunning 16th century castle (both within 7 miles), or explore the pebbled swathes of Chesil beach (3 miles).
The stunning harbour is also well worth a visit, where you can take a boat trip or try your hand at fishing.
