"We absolutely loved our stay at Guatemala Dreams. Our hosts Jonty and Kimberly are exceptional. They went above and beyond meeting our needs. Even giving us a zuccini when the market we walked to was closed and we still wanted to cook on the deck. "This hotel was exactly what I needed. It was close to town but far enough away where it felt secluded and peaceful. The view of the lake and the breakfast were spectacular. It is a bit tricky to get to if you’re not familiar with the area, you can show the driver of the Lancha the name of the hotel and they will drop you off right at the dock. Otherwise you’ll have to walk 10 minutes from the town dock. The shower doesn’t get super hot, it gets warm. Overall I’d recommend this place and would stay there again, all the people there were super friendly and helpful as well."
