The COVID-19 outbreak has changed the way we travel, but it hasn't stopped our enthusiasm for exploring. Here are a few tips on how to navigate travel's new challenges:

• Look into what, if any, rules or restrictions apply to both your destination and origin. It may not be possible to travel depending on local circumstances, so be sure to check before you book.
• You're required to wear a face mask at the airport, even at screening checkpoints. Be prepared to adjust your mask for ID purposes when asked by a TSA employee.
• To reduce the likelihood of cross-contamination, place your boarding pass on the reader yourself and then hold it up for inspection. Do not hand your pass directly to a TSA employee.
• TSA is now allowing passengers to take one container of hand sanitizer, up to 12 oz (350 ml) in size, in carry-on luggage. This will need to be removed from your bag at the X-ray machine for screening.
• Empty everything from your pocket, like your wallet, keys and phone, and put them in your carry-on instead of the bins. This will reduce handling during screening.
• Transport your food items in a clear plastic bag and also put them in a screening bin. Keeping food separate from your carry-on means it's less likely a TSA agent will need to touch and open your bag for inspection.

To help minimize contact between passengers and aircrew during the ongoing pandemic, many airlines have taken social distancing and other measures to the skies. A great example of these are:
