「ツアーで行ったオークニー旅行の途中、この宿に夜８時に到着。ツアーのミニバスが玄関に着くと同時に建物の中から出迎えの声が聞こえ、笑顔の美しいオーナーが私のファーストネームを呼びながら話しかけてきてくれました。４泊５日の最後の宿でしたので、わりと疲れがたまっていたのですが、彼女のおもてなしの気持ちが伝わってきて、夫も私も元気になりました。朝食もおいしく、夫がいただいたコンチネンタルの朝食には大きなメロンの上に旬のサマー・ベリーズが３種類ものっかってました（ラズベリー、ブラックベリー、いちご、ブルーべリー）。ひとつだけ残念だったのは、バスルーム付という表示を見てダブルの部屋を予約したのですが、割り当てられた部屋の中にバスルームがなく、部屋を出たすぐのところ（階段の踊り場）にある私たち専用のバスルームを使わないといけませんでした。使うたびに服を着て部屋を出るのが面倒だったので、予約サイトでの明示が必要かと思います。こうした不自由はありましたが、次にUllapoolに泊まる機会にも泊まりたいと思う宿です。」

「The Lochview Guesthouse is a top travellers rest, our room was very clean, quiet and comfortable. The guesthouse is conveniently located a short walk from the centre of Ullapool. Our host Andrew was friendly and welcoming.」

「We were trying reach out to them 2 days prior and many times after but no response. There is no one in sure. Be no response for some booking issue, still waiting :(」

「A very warm welcome when we arrived. The bedroom had character, was clean and comfortable with a nice view of the loch. Ten minutes walk to the centre of Ullapool. Checking in was at set times, booked before arrival, the last time being 6.45pm, which was a little restrictive. Compared with other places to stay this was good value for money.」

「The guesthouse is situated just outside of Portree in a beautiful small village. It is a brand new establishment, has four rooms out of them only 2 are operational, it is spotlessly clean with the most comfortable beds and bed linens. The host is very friendly and helpful but also gives lots of space and there is a total separation between their house and the guests area. Continental Breakfast is complete with all we needed. 「Our room was nothing like any of the ones pictured online. Possibly because we were on the ground floor in the back, but it was dark and the dim yellowish lighting did not help. Towels were a bit rough, but appeared clean. We came a long way to visit Inverness and found the guest house, our room, and the staff devoid of charm. We had prepaid the room for two nights, but decided to leave and find alternate lodging, right in the heart of town.」
