「Our 3-night stay at Mardon House was just perfect. James and Angela are great hosts: friendly and helpful. Upon check-in, James gave us a quick orientation to the city with a helpful photo and map in the hall. The twin room was clean and well-furnished, including the en-suite bathroom. There was plenty of variety in the breakfast offerings, including cold and cooked items, and Angela makes the BEST porridge. Mardon house is an easy 15-minute walk from the train station and well-placed to explore...

「Perfect location and beautiful house/gardens. The hosts were lovely. The property did however feel slightly dated and lacked that attention to detail. Must say the breakfasts and evening meal was only average. Thankyou for allowing us to stay at your lovely home - we will return」

「Kirkton Bay is one of those places where, despite it being in a remote location with very little to do, I still felt like I wasn't ready to leave when the time came! This B&B is located almost right on the beach, with stunning views of the hills/mountains on the Isle Of Skye. The cabin that I stayed in was cleaned / maintained to a 5-star hotel standard, especially the bathroom which was absolutely spotless. 「The accommodation was outstanding. Susan was very welcoming and the rooms were comfy, roomy, and well designed. Breakfast was excellent. 4 rooms and 4 tables of two set up with all the extras. Fridges in the room. The location is a short walk to Portree. Free parking provided on site. This accommodation is perfect in every way!!!! Really enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend staying here if you are going to the Isle of Skye.」
