"Chris the manager was terrific and staff were great. Breakfast was good but an option for something less fussy - oatmeal or soft boiled eggs would be good for ‘non Breakfast eaters.’ Nice porch to relax would have been nicer if we’d been able to purchase a glass or bottle of wine. But nitpick. Thanks for a wonderful day and 2 nights in beautiful Bar harbor."

"Very friendly check in process with early access. Decent sized room with very well maintained gardens. Location was ok but it is a bit of a walk to some restaurants and bars. Clean quiet and comfortable!"

"This was a great location for what we wanted to do. The staff were friendly and nice. The breakfast adequate although nothing hot but water and coffee. The hotel could definitely use an update. It is a little care-worn. Bathroom tub & sink were a little dingy. The beds however were comfy and the rug seemed to be fairly new. We needed to leave a day earlier than anticipated and they were very agreeable & gracious about that. Even though it is situated on the main road into Bar Harbor, we did not hear the noise from traffic."
