"The hotel was in a perfect location in the old town. A prominent hotel on the high street dating back to 17th century, lots of history attached to the hotel. The room was comfortable but in need of updating. An enjoyable stay in an historic building lots of atmosphere and character. Only disadvantage was the lack of breakfast although there are plenty of cafes nearby. I would certainly stay there again."

"We had a great stay. We checked in on wed night and had to walk through some really loud music (a bit concerned at this point) but our room was pleasantly sound proofed from the noise. The first night I found the bed springy and hard to sleep in but I emailed management and Cameron quickly put a bed topper on for us and I slept like a baby the next night. "A friendly welcome to the property. Although nowhere in the village to eat in the evening, we were recommended a restaurant 5 minute drive away in Corwen. Straightforward continental breakfast in the morning available. As the pub shut at 10pm, there was no late night noise so enjoyed a good night's sleep. A great base for exploring the area."
