「Great little find here! Lovely pub with great atmosphere, food fab with onsite restaurant. The room was really well presented and lovely decor. My room was facing south and west on the hottest day of the year, thankfully the staff provided a fan and there was a well stocked fridge in the room too. Breakfast was continental style in the room in a lovely hamper, plus yogurts, milk and orange juice in the fridge. Would go back again when in the area. Thanks team.」

「We stayed for two nights in June 2026, our hosts were waiting to greet us even though we were 3 hours later than our ETA. From that moment to when we left they treated us like we had known each other for many years, a truly unique experience. The breakfast and the homemade cake was simply superb. If we ever need accommodation in the area again we would not hesitate to stay with Jackie and Rob at the White Cottage in Trysull, Staffs.」
