"Overall this was a great location directly across the street from Cardiff Castle. It was frantic because of the annual half-marathon attended by 29000 people (which we were not aware of at the time of booking) and the lifts were broken, but the front desk staff were extremely helpful. The room was large and everything worked as it should, but the rooms are showing their age a bit. They needed more staff at dinner but food was quite good."

"The location was perfect—just a short walk from the main attractions. Breakfast had plenty of variety and was delicious. Everything felt well cared for and relaxing. We’ll definitely return on our next visit and highly recommend this hotel to others."

"Lovely stay here. The staff is terrific and the room had everything I needed. The street traffic can be a bit noisy in the evenings, but I found that it died down by 10:00 to 11:00 PM. My room faced the street, and the view was worth it. Though I did use earplugs at night, my sleep was just fine. Thank you for making my experience in Cardiff so pleasant!"
