"The location was amazing. So beautiful and peaceful. The house was gorgeous, the pictures didn’t even do it justice. The front porch was excellent for hanging out, the back deck provided an incredible view, and the many different amenities like the fire pit and hot tub were utilized and enjoyed! The kitchen was labeled clearly helping us find what we needed and the only thing we wished it had that it didn’t was a crock pot which was totally fine! The dining area was spacious and even had a high chair which was wonderful for our 1 year old! No straps or tray but we just pulled it over to the table and he did great. The pool table and massage chair were both used quite a bit during our stay. No complaints about any of the bedrooms. Our only issue in the house was with the water, if two people try to shower in different bathrooms one of the showers will cut off. But the owners did warn of water supply issues so you just need to be mindful of making sure only one person is using water in the house at a time. The hike to the waterfall that is within the gated community was not too difficult and so worth it. We were able to take our 3 small children with only an occasional stumble but the waterfall was beautiful to see. I can’t say enough good things about this property. I wish our stay had been longer! "

"The cabin was perfect. The view while sitting on the deck chatting with friends was just as amazing as it looks in the photos. Quick and easy travel to Black Mountain and Asheville. This trip was a do-over from a trip planned for the same time last year when Hurricane Helene did such horrific damage. Contact was initiated by the cabin owner in 2024 asking if I would like to cancel my reservation because although their cabin had no damage, so much of the surrounding area was devastated. I certainly didn't expect the cabin owner to reach out to me about canceling the reservation and refunding my fees, but that's exactly what happened. Hence when we rescheduled our trip, I immediately booked the same cabin. As an aside, I know from my 2024 plans, that although their cabin wasn't damaged, surrounding neighbors were in need and they did all they could to help others in the area post Helene. Wonderful cabin! Wonderful cabin owners!"

"Great place to stay!! Secluded and easy to access.The area between the cabin and the creek is perfect. We had our corn hole boards, camping chairs and music down there while the dogs ran around and played in the stream.Also a nice rolling herb garden to the side of the house with a cool swing and hiking trails right behind the house that go up the mountain.Lake Lure is only 15 minutes away where there is an Ingles grocery store and a handful of neat bars and restaurants with live music.The Cabin itself is really nice! This is a Fully furnished and equipped house with everything you would expect to find. Laundry room, full kitchen, great living room with giant windows that look up to the trees and sky, giant master bedroom/bath, 2nd bedroom downstairs is perfect and on the opposite side of the house from the Master bedroom.The loft upstairs is big with a couch/sitting area, 2 beds, its own bathroom and opens up to the upstairs deck.Great place, definitely recommend!!The deck upstairs off of the Loft area is great for watching the stars."
