Nice apartment. It was a bad smell probably by plastic materials used in the building. The bed was terribly unconfortable and loose so the noise didnt let to sleep well. The rest of the house was excellent and it also had a very nice view of The Pentagon. The gym is awesome and so is customer service people.
The area is very convenient and safe. The metro, a whole foods, a big shopping center and many restaurants are short walking distance from The Bartlett
Had a bit of an issue at check in, but it was resolved in a reasonable time. Great communication from the management.

Modern apartment, disappointing
I arrived very late at night (delayed flights) to an empty desk, and could not get in the front door. The concierge did not seem to want to help me, nor tell me where anything is. He gave me the envelope and said "Goodnight". Once I worked out where the elevators were I got up to my floor and got into the apartment, which as you'll see from the picture is absolutely nothing like the bedroom they promise. Overall, the location was close to the airport and above Wholefoods which is what I was most looking forward to. But the apartment itself left a little to be desired.
Our reservation was moved from the Bartlett to the Arcadia without notice to us or anyone at the Bartlett, by Bridgestreet which is a 3rd party facilitator. The buildings were within a block or each other and similar; BUT I am not a mind reader, to switch the location with out notice resulted in a 45 minute tension ridden check-in process. Hotel.com had no idea what happened, and I was on hold for 30+ minutes being transferred around with no idea what if anything they were doing. In the end, the after hours Bridgestreet rep was able to tell us what to happen and where to go...but this was completely avoidable and unacceptable service. The unit itself was perfect. But you can not send people to one location and make them "Nancy Drew" where the secret location of the reservation actually was reported to the staff. NOTE: nothing, not a single confirmation, email, online reservation said anything but the Bartlett. How we were supposed to guess to go to the Arcadia, no one knows. No one at the Bartlett knew the reservation had been moved. There are multiple doors to both building, all locked after hours. It was poring rain, and we exhausted travelers had to talk our way through 2 different multi-entrance locked buildings. Bonus points: the door to the unit had some crazy magnet based lock that no one could be expected to know how it works. Needed: correct reservation information; exact information about what entrance to go to for the building; unit lock directions.
This is not a hotel, this is a full apartment. It was very nice. I stayed in the winter, but summer time would be absolutely a beautiful time with the buildings roof top pool. The service at the front desk was less than impressive. The residence that live at the building were not very kind. The parking was very confusing. Once the parking was figured out the stay was very nice. The room was very comfortable and beautiful.
Knowing the parking, I will still stay here again if the opportunity arises again.
Enjoyed staying here very much! Very clean and spacious. Loved having a full kitchen and laundry (including detergent and soap). Would definitely stay here again!
The staff is super friendly and the building is great. We really like the fact that Whole Foods is right downstairs. Tons of things to do. So much better than a hotel.
The Bartlett is actually an apartment building with several businesses in its footprint - a Whole Foods, coffeeshop, etc. I loved staying at the Bartlett and felt more like a resident than a visitor.
Ok, this is not your typical hotel. It's an apartment building I think and your renting a suite/ apartment. The person at the front desk will give you your keys and travel info, but it's not a hotel. If you have questions or need something, you need to call Bridgestreet. The apartment was good size and clean. Very comfortable. It's in a very good location. It's a block from the Pentagon City metro stop. It also has a full kitchen. I would recommend this location if you are self sufficient.
Modern building with many residences. This is not a hotel. No one cleans the room. Only enough shampoo for 1 day. Bedroom had no window. Did not get internet password. I later realized a phone number was written for the password. I left a message with my email address and phone number but no one got back to me. Building has nice reception, gym, communal work areas and roof deck with good views
