"The next door neighbors had very squeaky door and another neighbor had a barking dog. Once we got used to those noises, we enjoyed the room. The very long stairway to the beach closes at dusk because the steps have not lighting. However, the very wide beach is beautiful!!"

"The staff followed my request and it was AWESOME. We came in for the FTF2025 & stayed a few days. I requested a photo of Jacob saying "where have you been loca!?" And they put it on the bed waiting for us. The view from our room wasnt the best but definitely within walking distance. They provided a really bright mag light to use, a broom to sweep up your sandy messes lol. The kitchen is helpful to have and within walking distance to the little grocery store/gas station. Room was clean, windows as well to take gorgeous photos! The coat hooks really proved useful this time around bc it was quite rainy this visit. We absolutely love staying here every single time. "

"The room i stayed in was very outdated. The bed was soooo uncomfortable and im not picky. I could hear every foot step from the room above me as well as the neighbors conversations. I chose the Chautauqua because i have stayed here for over 35 years. Its a far walk to the beach and town. The pool was recently refinished and looked great! They do offer a really nice complimentary breakfast. I paid $180 for a Monday night. "
