Nice property, good location. There was parking on the road outside but you have to make sure you move your car in the morning in line with the parking restrictions

5 minute walk to the town centre which was really great! Clean inside, lovely place. Only downside was in the description it didn’t say there was 3 levels in the apartment, having 3 young kids it wasn’t kid friendly but problem solved because there was a sofa bed and 2 extra pullout beds upstairs so my younger children could stay on the top floor with me and my partner. Great price I paid was very impressed!

Very clean and well supplied kitchen and well presented rooms. Comfy bed but very lumpy pillows. The ensuite vent banged quite loudly throughout the night in the wind causing a disturbed sleep. It would be good if the apps on the tv worked so that guests could log into their own subscription tv. Generally, excellent value for money.

Communications pre booking were Poor, I wasn’t sent the deposit link so had to phone and ask, wasn’t sent check in details so had to phone and ask, they then arrived at 3.01pm on the day (check in is from 3) Property could really do with some improvements, paintwork dirty with lots of bare patches, to open the skylight you had to climb on your bed (and there was no other openable window) the bathroom had no toilet roll holder, no shelf for your toiletries, the shower had no shelf for toiletries, and there was no mirror in the bedrooms so you couldn’t see to dry your hair. They have also positioned the smoke/heat alarm directly over the cooker so that was set off twice when I was cooking breakfast and opened the oven! Otherwise it was reasonably equipped, and comfortable, some basic kitchen amenities like salt and pepper wouldn’t go amiss either though. A very small amount of money spent would elevate these apartments considerably. Good location though, really close to town and some nice bars, and convenient for both stations.

Poor maintenance and safety standards

Communication good for access to the apartment. Apartment presented in a clean and tidy. Numerous problems gave cause for concern. TV controller not working, had to use buttons on TV. Most of the lights in the kitchen lounge, and top of stairs not working. Hole in kitchen sink, risk of injury. Pipe detached from boiler, so didn't use heating or hot water due to unknown safety of boiler. High pitch alarm was sounding in the lobby from when I arrived till leaving this morning, possibly fire alarm. So multiple problems which didn't give me confidence regarding the maintenance and safe standard of the apartment and whole building. I hope that a swift rectification plan can be implemented for any future guests. Look forward to your reply.

Overall great location easy accessible to shopping. Staff were very polite and quick to respond to questions. Only downside was the WiFi connection which was very poor. If you are relying on WiFi this wouldn’t work for you.

Great apartments, small beds.

Great value place to stay with everything you need in a unique setting. The beds are listed as double however they are definitely not, my wife had to sleep with my son for fear of being elbowed out in the middle of the night. They also require a damage deposit that requires you to pay via a 3rd party website, which hotels.com advises you not to do under any circumstance. Would stay again.

The property was wonderfully clean, really modern with beautiful features. Karen and Liam are so helpful and made sure our stay was perfect. The directions to the property where really helpful, it’s a short walk into the centre and it was the prefect location to get to Chester zoo and Formby beach. We would absolutely stay here again and would highly recommend to anyone thinking to stay. The beds are so comfy! So much so I looked at the make off the mattress. The apartment was lovely and warm with very quick WiFi. The best self catering weekend we have had for a long time. Thank you!

Terrible experience, got there round 11pm as it is self check in and front gate into property wouldn't open ,the number to ring was switched off No help from office and had to literally sleep in car and they refused to refund even half the amount paid .NeverAgain

tolles Apartment in einer alten Kirche

das Apartment ist eines von 8 die in die Grundmauern einer alten Kirche gebaut worden sind, im Erdgeschoss gibt es ein Schlafzimmer mit Bad, im ersten Stock ein Schlafzimmer und ein separates Bad, und im zweiten Stock ist der Wohn-Küchenbereich, alles sehr sauber ! die Lage ist auch klasse , Restaurants und Pub in fußläufiger Entfernung, die Vorabkommunikation lief auch super ! Einziges klitzekleines Manko : in der Woche gibt es nur zwei Parkplätze

Nice enough stay, could be very good.

Really nice stay with my small family when arranging house move. Lots of nice things about the apartments, plenty of space, but needs plenty of tweaks and small improvements. Pros Look nice, clean, modern, plenty of space. Cons Poor communication (multiple messages via WhatsApp and Hotels.com), generally well-equipped but then missing obvious things like they only had one small pan and a frying pan, which was at odds with the well equipped kitchen. No welcome manual meant didn't know how to work anything, cooker or heating in particular. Terrible TV and layout of lounge, crammed into a corner with small TV at weird angle. Sofa is a cheap sofa bed and really uncomfortable to sit on to watch TV. Overall we liked the place, and would recommend it, even stay again, but it feels like they have just paid a contractor to renovate it on the cheap with little thought. Needs a bit of TLC to make it a great place, it has real potential. But nowadays you expect better than the quality of the TV and sofa and you expect to have enough pans to cook etc. So overall, good, could be great.
