The Space:

Morning light spills across the valley as mist lifts from the hills, and the quiet feels expansive, broken only by the soft rustle of the forest. The air is crisp, and the yurt stays warm and inviting, offering a front‑row seat to winter landscapes and long, peaceful evenings. Steam rises from the hot tub while stars emerge overhead, inviting you to slow down and settle into the rhythm of the mountains.

Sleeping arrangements

The studio‑style yurt sleeps up to four guests with a king‑sized bed and a sleeper sofa in the open living area. A loft above provides a quiet spot for reading, games, or simply enjoying a change of perspective.

Interior comforts

A full bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen let you prepare meals and refresh after a day outdoors. A pellet stove supplies gentle heat for chilly nights, while air conditioning keeps the space comfortable on milder days. Fast Wi‑Fi and a dedicated workspace support streaming, video calls, and remote work, and a Smart TV offers evening entertainment. Board games and comfortable seating encourage relaxed, screen‑free downtime, and a sound machine on the bedside table helps mask any distant road noise.

Outdoor living

Step onto the deck to take in wide‑open views of the ridge. The hot tub, perfect for crisp winter evenings, offers a soothing contrast to the cool air. A fire pit invites you to gather after dark, and a BBQ grill provides the option for outdoor cooking. Free parking on the premises and additional street parking are available.

Location & nearby experiences

Nature’s Edge sits on a mountain ridge in Wardensville, surrounded by 35 acres of wooded land. Lost River is about half a mile down the road, and Lost River State Park lies roughly 15 minutes away, offering miles of trails through dense forest. The nearby state route can carry some noise, especially when trees are bare in winter, but the sound machine helps ensure restful sleep. During snow or ice, a 4‑wheel‑drive vehicle or tire chains may be required, and travel insurance is recommended for winter travel.

Perfect for…

Couples, solo travelers, or small groups seeking a quiet retreat with modern comforts will find this yurt an ideal base. Whether you’re soaking in the hot tub on a cold night, working remotely with a view, or venturing out to nearby trails and towns, the blend of simple yurt living and thoughtful amenities creates a calm and memorable stay.

Wow, we can’t say enough about this spot. Private, beautiful, comfortable, great location, well stocked. All you could want for a romantic getaway (but there is also room to bring the kids if you wanted to! But you won’t want to once you see it!) Communication great. Absolutely no notes: 5/5! (We did pick up a tick hiking…please make sure you do a thorough check.)
If I could, I would spend my whole life in this moment…
You can’t see the hot tub here, but it was perfect…
