Tucker Hill is a quintessential New England Inn. It is historic, cozy, and clean with very comfortable beds. It has a charming, traditional feel to the shared spaces, and is in a quiet neighborhood in a very quaint, ski-adjacent town that has plenty of with restaurants.
The room and especially the bed were comfortable. The only complaint is a noisy family arrived around midnight and woke me up. It’s not the hotel’s fault but the inconsiderate guests.
The lodge was located in very rural mountains area and the landscape was beautiful and scenic. The property was well kept however they need to consider upgrading their electrical system. The staff were very attentive and responsive to our needs. While they conducted a subway and advised us of the situation in the area. Or needs to be said about the lack of food options or even a general store. But overall, we had a wonderful time in the area was absolutely beautiful.
Tucker Hill lodge is under brand new management. Dana and Zan are welcoming and accommodating. The lodge is within minutes drive from both Mt Ellen and Sugar Bush ski areas, The rooms, although small, are newly decorated and immaculate. The communal areas - a “den” with armchairs, rugs and an open fire, and another area with tables and complimentary tea and coffee - are warm and inviting. There are facilities for either a restaurant/dining room or else self-catering for a group of families holidaying. The kitchen will be up and running when the right staff are located. Will certainly stay again!
Contactless check-in. Room was roomy and clean. Some problems with electricity, handled quickly by moving to another room that was just as nice. Owner contacted us personally to ensure everything was adequate.
So friendly, and spot-on with recommendations, including suggesting we dine right away, before the fabulous restaurant closed! Convenient location to all we wanted to do. Great activity recommendations!
One of the prettiest and best places I’ve stayed. Everything you could want out of a stay in Vermont! They went above and beyond to make it a great experience!
Great property. Great location. Support team were excellent! Returned calls promptly, accommodated an early check in for us due to our travel plans. Recommend!
Fantastic little inn set in the scenic Green Mountains. Check in and out was super easy with text/digital communication. The common areas of the in are beautiful and accommodating with plenty of seating areas inside an out to enjoy the seasonal setting. I will absolutely be staying again!
The room wasn't very practical use of space. No desk area, no bedside table on one side and the bathroom had very limited place to put your stuff. On the upside the bed was nice and the staff were friendly. Ok for 1 night but would struggle if staying longer.
