"We loved this peaceful place, a short drive to the shops. It was clean and tidy with all we needed in the kitchen. I liked using the water filter and reading some of the many books. Sharon is a great host, friendly and replies promptly. Thanks for our stay!"

"Everything was excellent incl the spa which was amazing, however it would be nice if there was an oven to cook own meals. The kitchen has no canopy so cooking is a mission. Best if you takeout food for the stay. Otherwise an excellent place to stay!will be back again in family suite. Highly recommended!"

"Perfect place for a romantic winter getaway. Stunning grounds, great room with lovely views, the lodge was cozy and the food was great - the breakfast in particular was amazing. Dinner was expensive but it didn’t disappoint and convenient onsite. No TV in the room but no need with the cozy fireplace. Bed was comfortable with nice linen. Mini fridge, good tea and coffee making facilities. Spa bath wasn’t working unfortunately but enjoyed the sauna. Would 100% recommend this place for a couple. Would also be a great place for a small conference, executive meeting or retreat."
