「Just spent a week with my family and loved it.
The good points: the staff are fantastic, so helpful and friendly even when we turned up at 2am after our flight was delayed. The rooms are big and clean (and didn't see a single mosquito). Air con worked well. Netflix on the tv. Pool was clean. The best bit was being right on the beach. The boys loved playing football and splashing around. It's out of the city centre so very quiet and peaceful and it was great to get away from the insane...
「La Villa Aphro was our home away from home. The tucked away boutique resort felt like our own personal Air B and B. Upon arrival we were welcomed with a delightful welcome native drink that I wanted to drink the entire trip. My. Husband arrived with an upset stomach from our united airlines flight from IAD. Staff immediately jump to action showed to our room and made him two drinks. A special ginger drink the bartender put together and seltzer. My husband slept and was felling back to his self...
「Apparently, every night house music is played.... It was so loud that I wore ear plugs in my room. It says that there is a pool, but the pool was unswimmable.... they were slick with green algae. The beach is strewn with garbage (which I understand is something they cannot help).... I don't mean to be a bummer here, but buyer beware.
The price point is great.... I came to Winneba to visit friends.... And the free breakfast is nice.... And the staff are very, very friendly. But, it is not...
