"Quiet private inn with easy access to Volcanoes National Park. The complimentary coffee and papaya were much appreciated. Had a little trouble with Wi-Fi, which was resolved satisfactorily. Hot tub was clean and a good temperature."

"Clean, functional place, peekaboo ocean view from the top porch, very friendly, non-intrusive landlord. His suggestions to visit the nearby coast were the best. The location is somewhat secluded and the waves and nearby tropical forests were stunning. Whales, turtles, tidal pools, all within minutes. People are very friendly in the area. Recommended!"

"Great location close to Volcano park. Musty smelling room – very damp environment. It was a bit cool and the small heater didn’t really work. There is a dirt driveway and parking area. Enjoyed the delicious muffins and papaya which were provided."

"Perfect location, can walk just a short walk to the ocean cliffs and sit and watch the ocean. You can even hear the waves at night from my room. Just a room with bed, microwave, fridge, and bathroom. Nice outdoor table area that is covered so you can eat outside. Highly recommend."

"Very poor - while John is in Thailand. Arrived 7PM. Another party was occupying my room. The other party couldn't gain access to THEIR room, so they took MINE. No-one was around. They called the phone number many times and left messages. The room they took was completely unacceptable. The 'wall of mold spores' hit me in the face as soon as I entered. No way I could stay for even 2 seconds, or 2 minutes - never mind two nights. The other party reported mold on the bedding/elsewhere. How could...

"This was the perfect house for us. We especially loved the separate bedroom for our son to stay in. It was a fully stocked kitchen and a nice grill so we cooked in every night. The hot tub was great too! Mindi and John are wonderful hosts with top notch communication. The location was perfect for exploring the National Park and surrounding areas. The pictures just don't do this place justice, it's way cooler!"
