Volcan Mountain Wilderness Preserve

While staying here, I was impressed with nearly everything The Sofia had to offer from the gorgeous rooms, the hotels view, helpful staff, and even complementary goodies in the lobby. I will say I was not a fan of having learning that you must pay to park here as it’s not included in your reservation. I also felt the property lacked more amenities for its guests like a hot tub or even a sort of breakfast voucher for their new restaurant downstairs. Overall, me and my plus one had a fantastic opportunity to stay here. 7.5/10

Friendly staff. Clean room. Excellent view. Activity hub made it very convenient to obtain beach cruises, chairs, and umbrellas. Nice that there were beach towels and robes for quests to use.

We had a room that faced the lagoon and we had the most wonderful experience with all the birds. Dining was terrific, the location is lovely and yet close to downtown and the beaches.
