「Brand new property that is well maintained and full of amenities. I stayed in the “Punk” room and it was really a fun place. The contact person was great and responded immediately on the few questions I had. Would definitely stay here again!!」

「Basic 3 star hotel Still you get the feeling of the old communists times Small rooms, basic fornitures Bathroom need some renovation The door on the bottom part was rotten Breakfast average Friendly staff Conveniently located in the main city square 」

「Charming surroundings and very comfortable rooms. Delicious buffet available. Very accommodating staff and all very friendly and helpful with English speaking guests.」

「This was a great place to stay. Easy access to hiking; near the bus stop; clean and well-maintained. The staff helped us with our requests. Glad I chose this one.」

「Let's start with the positives. The reception desk and café staff, were incredibly helpful and kind. The room was clean. The dining space was updated and clean and the staff did their best. The grounds were well kept. The negative were the other staff. No one spoke English and did not attempt to communicate in any other language, verbal or non-verbal. Listing a property on Expedia should include mention that English is not widely spoken when appropriate. Except for the cave steam bath, there...

「Beautiful views, plenty parking, breakfast was satisfactory. We would stay again.」

Experiencia bem ruim」

「This is a very posh, small (24 room) 5* hotel, located right in the center of the small town of Banska Stiavnica. We were the only guests that night, because the hotel had blocked reservations to get organized for the summer season (and forgot to block Expedia). The hotel owner was working the desk, and was extremely friendly and helpful. There is convenient and secure parking under the hotel. There are a few tourist attractions in town (most interesting - the mine tour) and there are other...
