Welcome to Sandpiper Retreat, a designer home in the quiet north end of Sandbridge. With 7 bedrooms, the house sleeps 20 comfortably. Outside, enjoy a private pool, hot tub, and multiple lounging and dining areas. The fully renovated interior has ample space including two dining areas plus a massive game room. Just a short walk to the beach. I own a boutique vacation rental company called New School Hosting. Expect an upgraded experience compared to "old school" property managers :)

The home layout is as follows:

Main level:
- Living room with electric fireplace
- Kitchen with large eat in kitchen. Space for 10 at the table, plus 4 at the bar.
- Dining room with space for 10
- Large game room with pool table, shuffleboard, 74" TV, 2 arcade machines, and working jukebox
- BR1: King bedroom with large ensuite bathroom with double vanities, tile shower, and jacuzzi tub
- BR2: King bedroom with ensuite bathroom with shower. Bathroom also connects to game room.
- BR3: Bunk room with 2 sets of twin-over-twin beds
- Half bath
- Laundry room with full size washer, dryer, and an additional refrigerator

Upper level:
- BR4: King bedroom with private balcony
- BR5 : 2 Queen beds
- Upstairs hall bath 1: shower/tub combo
- BR6: King bedroom with massive closet that doubles as a work space
- BR7: 2 Queen beds
-Upstairs hall bath 2: shower/tub combo

Ground level (outside):
- Private saltwater pool (open 4/9/25-10/9/25) with daybed and multiple loungers
- Hot tub (new 2024), open year-round
- Lounge area with couch and egg chairs
- Dining area for 6
- Screened in room with ping pong, seating area, and 2 large picnic tables

The beach is about a 5 minute walk on a quiet street with no major roads to cross. While we do not actively stock and maintain beach chairs and equipment, we do have a room in our garage where guests have left beach chairs and supplies that they didn't want to take home. This home is in the north end of Sandbridge, which we love! It is a quieter area with no public parking, so the beaches are much less crowded than the south end of Sandbridge.

This home is managed by Chris at New School Hosting. I'm a native of Virginia Beach and my family has rented beach houses from "old school" property managers for years, and I've rarely been impressed. At Sandpiper Retreat, you can expect:
- Unlimited toilet paper, paper towels, and other necessities
- Upgraded towels
- Comfortable mattresses and new pillows of various thicknesses
- Prompt responses to your questions and concerns
from a real person who actually cares (typically, me!)
- A fully stocked kitchen (including a stocked coffee bar) with quality pots, pans, knives, etc.

Other things to note
- Sandpiper Retreat is pet friendly! We allow up to 4 pets with a $200 pet fee (total, not per pet or per night). We provide some helpful supplies for pet-owners.
- Pool opening date is 4/9/25, and closing date is 10/9/25.
- The large driveway can fit about 8 vehicles
- Wifi is fast with a strong signal throughout the house. Six of the seven bedrooms, plus the living room and game room, feature a smart TV where you can access all the main streaming services
- Linens and towels provided
- Pack n play, high chair, kid dishes/utensils, and baby monitor provided
- Please note that if you would like to send packages to the property, you do so at your own risk. USPS is particularly unreliable. We can not be held responsible for late or undelivered packages. Additionally, we charge $25 for any return services requested, in additional to actual postage.
