「The Staff members were lovely and helpful, hard working people. Unfortunately, this building is just too old and decrepit - any work they could do is like putting lipstick on a pig. Add to that, Bikers’ Fest in Bobcaygeon! Every room & parking space was packed with party people & loud music. Not nasty people; just there to party. And…it took 2 Staff visits to get the TV functional. It was an experience!」

「Our stay was good. Sad to say, our bed looked like it had just been remade after the last guest. Our top cover had stains on it, and our sheets did not look clean. When I woke up in the morning to leave, I always take the sheets off the bed to help with housekeeping. Our bedroom sink was clogged, and water did not go down after I used the sink. 「Very occasionally you come across a special place that will stay with you forever. Saucy Willow is that. Beautiful setting and gardens, house that is tastefully and lovingly renovated. The rooms are great, super comfy beds, powerful shower, fridge. Breakfast was plentiful and filled us up (thanks Dave for packaging scones for us to take away).
